Black Panther 2 Updates
Black Panther 2 is the Sequel of Black Panther which was released in 2018. Soon enough the announcement about the sequel was made featuring our beloved T’Challa, Chadwick Boseman. However, the same could not be possible as we had to face the tragic news of Chadwick Boseman’s death at 43 this year.
The entire fanbase was devastated to hear about such heartbreaking news. Chadwick Boseman apart from being a brilliant actor is a wonderful person too. The makers have also shown their grief about this huge loss.
However, the production of the film could not be discarded. The replacement of T’Challa has not been accepted by the makers. The filmmakers and production house of Black Panther 2 have unanimously decided that Chadwick Boseman’s character will be honoured and there won’t be any replacement of it.
Some fans have been asking to bring back T’Challa by recasting but the studio has rejected the plea. Director Ryan Coogler recently said, “I know Chad wouldn’t have wanted us to stop.” Fans have also filed a petition in change.org with nearly 4000 signatures demanding replacement of T’Challa. However, there are some fans too who have respected makers decision to honour Chadwick Boseman without replacing T’Challa.
As there is no replacement for T’Challa, so it is expected that some will have to take the batten and carry forward the legacy as lead. Till date the names that have come up are Shuri (Letitia Wright), sister of T’Challa and Erik Killmonger (Micheal B. Jordan), one of two villains.
