The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 5: Chris Evans’ Cameo Hinted in the Next Episode

Fans are thrilled following the release of the latest episode of Marvel Studios’ original Disney+ series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. And, there’s no stopping in fans’ anticipation following multiple hints claiming that Steve Rogers aka the OG Captain America is making a cameo in the upcoming episodes. There are now only two episodes left to release in the six-episode event of the Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Steve Rogers decided to retire from the superhero job following the events of Avengers: Endgame. Rogers even handed his shield to his best-mate Sam Wilson after returning the infinity stones in their original places in the film. However, in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Wilson decided to hand the shield to the US government. But the government passed the shield to the army veteran, John Walker.

Fans were already disappointed when John Walker became Captain America. The shocking events in the fourth episode have left fans furious. There is blood on the shield, which clearly has degraded the values kept by Rogers. Barnes, like numerous fans, also shared his opinion and told Wilson that he should have kept the shield. Now, there would certainly be worse consequences triggered by the violent behaviour of Walker.

The showrunner hints at the surprise cameo in the next episode.

Malcolm Spellman, the show’s creator confirmed that there is a surprise cameo in the upcoming episode. However, he didn’t reveal who the surprise character will be. Fans quickly began speculating that the cameo would be of Steve Rogers. The reports claimed that the cameo would be a flashback featuring Chris Evan’s Captain America. Following the eventful fourth episode, it makes sense to look back into the original Captain America.
