One-Punch Man has become extremely famous, since its release back in 2015. Based on a webcomic, One Punch Man is about a Japanese superhero who can make anyone fly with just one punch.
It shouldn’t come out as a shock for fans if the third season of the series adaptation comes much later than anticipated by the viewers since there was a 4-year delay between the release of One Punch Man seasons 1 and 2.
What is One Punch Man about?
One-Punch Man is a Japanese television series based on the manga of the same name. It follows the story of Saitama who is a Superhero. His strength allows him to beat anyone and make them fly with just one punch. However, he soon gets bored of beating weak people and goes on an adventure to find someone worth a fight.
During his search, he comes across a cyborg named Genos and agrees to become his mentor. Genos is on the hunt for another cyborg who killed his family and ruined his hometown. The story follows Saitama and Genos as they join Hero Association and help in maintaining peace around the city.
One Punch Man Season 1 was first premiered in Japan in October 2015 while Season 2 came out much later in July 2019. The four-year gap between both seasons tells us that a season 3 might be coming much later than viewers expected. If it’s coming at all.
When will One Punch Man Season 3 be Released?
Despite there being no official announcement, fans are still rooting for a third season of One Punch Man. And the viewer’s response to season 1 of the anime might make that wish come true by late 2021 or early 2022.
Then there is the fact that One Punch Man manga is still being published with the current count of 141 chapters. More volumes are being published and we hope to see them soon.
