Matthew “Matt” Paige Damon is an American entertainer, filmmaker, and screenwriter. Damon is one of the Forbes mag’s maximum bankable stars and is one of the greatest entertainers to ever exist.
He is known for his roles in Good Will looking, the sea Trilogy, and the Bourne franchise, in addition to his prolific philanthropic work.
Early Life
Matt Damon was born on 8 October 1979, in Cambridge city of Massachusetts. He has an elder brother named Kyle Damon.
Damon is the son of the late actor, Kent Telfer Damon, and Carlsson Paige who is a professor at Lesley University. His parents got divorced, when he was in university and he along with his younger brother Kyle, who is a sculptor and artist, moved in with their mother in Cambridge. Both brothers had a pretty bad childhood due to a lack of attention from their parents.
Career
Damon started his acting career in 1988 when in the film ‘Spiritualist Pizza’. He also acted in movies, like, ‘Rising Son’ and School Ties’ during his college days. He acted in motion pictures, like ‘Green Zone’, ‘In the future, ‘Genuine Grit’, ‘The Adjustment Bureau’, ‘Elysium’, and ‘The Martian’between 2010 and 2014. Damon also did some TV shows, like, ‘Saturday Night Live’, ‘Will and Grace’, ‘Arthur’, ‘Escort’, ‘Place of Lies, and ‘Long periods of Living Dangerously’.
Matt was kind of an all-rounder, who did not just act in movies but also gave back-to-back great and hit movies but also produced many of them.
He also did a voiceover of many movies. He has acquired many specific awards consisting of an Academy Award, Golden Globe Awards, three British Academy movie Awards, and 6 Emmy Awards.
