Mark Wahlberg, 49, was born on June 5, 1971, in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. He is the youngest of all Wahlberg, by that it means he is the youngest among the nine children which include his brothers– Robert, an actor, and Donnie, who is a singer-actor.

Alma Elaine is his mother, who was a bank clerk and a nurse, and his father, Donald Edmond Wahlberg, was an ex-army official of the Korean war, in his later life he became a delivery driver. Mark’s parents got divorced in 1982, after which Mark had to give equal time to both his parents.
