Is ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’ Coming back? Everything You Need to Know

Just when we thought Netflix’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before franchise was coming to an end, we heard that a spin-off series is in the works. This time, however, it will not be based on Lara Jean (Lana Condor).

The Boys I’ve Loved Before’ Coming back

Awesomeness Productions and ACE Entertainment are developing a half-hour romantic comedy series about Kitty Song Covey’s “search for true love.” Jenny Han, author of the To All the Boys book series, will develop, write, and executive-produce the show, with Siobhan Vivian co-writing the pilot. Deadline reached out to Netflix for comment on the show, but they declined.

Not only did Kitty begin the entire To All The Boys trilogy by sending her sister Lara Jean’s hidden love letters to all of their recipients, but in the final film, To All the Boys: Always and Forever, she also developed her own love connection. As Lara Jean (Lana Condor) and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) rode off into the sunset, Kitty met a boy from South Korea.

To All the Boys: Always and Forever, the final movie in the trilogy, which was released on Netflix in February, rapidly rose to the top of Netflix’s list of most-watched movies after just a few days on the platform.

Lara Jean’s senior year of high school is the setting for the film’s plot. Lara Jean is faced with several life-altering choices after a spring break trip to Korea with her family.

Will the Original Cast of To All The Boys return in the Spin-Off series?

Although, there has been no information about Condor or Centineo joining the series (college obviously serves as an excuse), what we’re really curious about is whether John Corbett will return to his role of father Dr. Covey.

Meanwhile, Cathcart has spoken about their behind-the-scenes antics.

She told Bustle in 2018 that the three sisters were always “so comfortable with each other” and “we’d always make each other laugh, and always had the best time.” She also revealed that she had a group chat going on with Lana Condor and Janel Parrish, who played the role of the oldest Covey sister in the series.
