Winning Singer Ariana Grande
“I’ve long been a fan of the show, and I’m excited to compete against the amazing coaches, learn about these young talents, and help them take their craft to the next level. “said the singer-songwriter.
The network is just as ecstatic to have Grande as a coach on the program. Jenny Groom, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming’s executive vice president of unscripted content, said in a statement, “Ariana Grande’s incomparable success in the music industry as an overwhelming force in pop music is remarkable. We were ecstatic to hear that she is a die-hard ‘Voice’ fan, and we’re optimistic that her excitement would strengthen her impact as a dynamic coach.”
“Grande has a lot of experience in the music industry. Her unrivaled singing abilities, ingenuity, and in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the industry will make her an invaluable mentor to the next generation of musicians “Groom added to the conversation.
The singer of “All of You” also wished Grande well, writing on Twitter, “So happy to welcome Ariana to our Voice family!!”
Although Ariana Grande’s career has mostly revolved around her music, she is no stranger to television. From 2010 to 2013, she starred in the Nickelodeon show Victorious before appearing in her spin-off, Sam and Cat, from 2013 to 2014. She hosted and appeared on a March episode of Saturday Night Live in 2016.
Grande has previously worked on the show, but this will be her first time coaching.
‘The Voice,’ which features a rotating panel of judges, airs twice a year. Shelton has been on the panel since Season 1, but the other three slots have been regularly rotated over the years. Shakira, Usher, Miley Cyrus, and Alicia Keys have all previously worked as coaches. With Season 21, Grande will make her debut as a coach on the show. She’ll be seated next to Blake, John, and Kelly.
Jonas, 28, has previously left and returned to the show. Before his season 19 break, the “Jealous” singer filled in for Gwen Stefani for Season 18. However, his job isn’t done yet, even though his new departure has been confirmed. The competition’s fight rounds will take place on Monday, April 5, and the Monday after that.
