Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam Will Premier on 29th July 2022! Cast Details and More.

With a few bumps on the road, Dwayne Johnson is now one step closer to fulfilling his dream of being a superhero. On Sunday, Dwayne Johnson, who portrays a strong villain trying to redeem himself, shared video footage from Times Square on Instagram, showing an animated graphic from the film plastered across the New York landmark’s digital displays.

An eerie voice-over announces as the premiere date emerges in blinking neon lights: “The DC Universe’s power system is about to change.”

Johnson captioned the photo of Times Square with a Black Adam visual teaser, “A disruptive and irresistible force of a message from the man in black himself.” During Sunday’s NCAA game, a short spot with the release date was also seen.

With Black Adam, Johnson will make his DC debut as a Villain, who is the foe of Shazam (Zachary Levi) in the DC Extended Universe. Johnson said that the role of Black Adam was “unlike any other I’ve ever played in my career” when he first announced the project in 2019.

“I wanted to be like Superman ever since i was a boy. Still, after a few years, I understood that Superman was the type of hero, that I could never be because I was too stubborn. Too boisterous. Too averse to authority and protocol, ” he wrote in an Instagram post.

“Black Adam” was originally going to premier in December of this year, but it was removed from Warner Bros.’ release schedule in October 2020. The film will now be released on the same weekend as Disney’s fifth “Indiana Jones” film.

Cast of Black Adam:

It was revealed after the announcement of the release date for the movie that Pierce Brosnan is going to be playing the role of Dr. Fate, a classic hero. Hawkman is played by Aldis Hodge, Atom Smasher is played by Noah Centineo, and Cyclone is played by Quintessa Swindell.

Jaume Collet-Serra, who directed the horror remake of House of Wax will be directing Black Adam.

The film’s production is scheduled to begin in Atlanta in April.
