3 upcoming projects of Game Of Thrones Creators Weiss & Benioff:

David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, creators of Game of Thrones, have been working on other projects for Netflix after the end of Game of Thrones which they were criticized for. And, they have some quite interesting projects in their hands at this point. Although they had some projects which were canceled because of several reasons. Like, star wars were taken away from them, and then their project Confederate was canceled by HBO, and finally, Lovecraft which has also appeared to be postponed.

But recently they cracked a 250 million dollar deal with Netflix, which includes their talents like, writing and directing. Netflix has signed them for 5 years in the future and it’s a great deal for David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. So, In short, they will be creating movies and TV shows for Netflix now. So, here are some projects they are working on.

THE THREE-BODY PROBLEM:

Alexander Woo, whom you guys know to be the writer of True Blood will be working with David Benioff and D.B. Weiss to write the script for this TV show. It will be an adaptation of the Remembrance of Earth’s Past trilogy by the legendary writer Liu Cixin. The series will not focus on just one book but all the whole trilogy by Liu Cixin. The name of the books is The Three-Body Problem, The Dark Forest, and Death’s End. The book talks about contacting alien civilization.

THE CHAIR:

Weiss and Benioff will not be from the creative field in this show but rather they will act as an executive producer of the show. Sandra Oh, you guys know him from the killing eve will also play a major part in this series. The pot has not been announced by anyone working in the movie nor the release date has been announced by either the creators or the streaming Platform.  The show is in Production as some photos came out from their set in Pittsburgh, PA.

THE OVERSTORY:

This will be a TV series that will be adapted from the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name by Richard Powers. The story is about 9 characters and the story follows each one of them. The pilot for this show was written by Richard Robbins, writer of 12 monkeys. Hugh Jackman will also be a part of the series but he will not act in it but rather he will be one of the executive producers of the show.
