Tenet Coming to HBO Max on May 1st- A Streaming Platform Nolan Hates

Tenet was one of the most anticipated movies of last year because of the director and writer Christopher Nolan. But the movie got a mixed reaction from the audience as well as critics. Although people were critical about its writing, no one said anything about the action pieces in the movie because they were amazing. And somehow it’s the action movie by Christopher Nolan which you have to feel not understand as told by Christopher Nolan himself.

The movie was a moderate success on Box Office earning almost 363 million dollars. That’s why the studio is now releasing the movie on their respective streaming platform too.

TENET POSTPONED MANY TIMES:

The movie will release on the 1st of May on the streaming platform of HBO called HBO Max. We all know the fact that how much Christopher Nolan hates movies that are made of cinema halls to stream on a platform that will be watched on a 15-inch laptop.  Tenet was supposed to release in the cinema hall in July but because of Coronavirus Pandemic, the movie was postponed many times. The movie did not saw the light of theatre until December last year.

THE VIEWS OF THE DIRECTOR:

We all know how Christopher Nolan loves theatre and how much he loves to watch movies on the big screen. So much so, that he was the first person in the line to buy the movie ticket when the theatre re-opened in America. And because of his love for theatre, he is very critical of streaming platforms and their terms to release the movie on their streaming platforms.

The filmmaker had also criticized the warner brothers on their announcement that they will release their 2021 movies in the theatre and on their streaming platforms at the same time.
