Michael B. Jordan to direct Creed Threequel Movie

The rumors about Michael B. Jordan making his directorial debut with Creed III has been the hot topic of the town for almost a year now. But it was not official until the star confirmed it by himself. According to a news report by MGM Jordan is all set to try his hands-on direction with Creed threequel movie. With is slated to make its debut on Thanksgiving 2022.

The first Creed movie was premiered back in 2015 and was originally the spin-off series of Hollywood classic Rocky. Helmed by Ryan Coogler, the movie starred Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed, the son of great Apollo Creed. Despite some of argues about being the reboot version of Rocky. Creed managed to garner a whopping business on the box-office. The success of Creed made MGM continue the franchise with Creed II.

Under the direction of Steven Caple Jr., Creed II hit the theater in 2018 and was a bigger hit than the original movie. The movie was undoubtedly a critical and financial success. The success of the movie left us wondering about the future of the franchise.

Progress on the production of the threequel movie started in the summer of 2020 when Zach Baylin was asked to pen down the script. With the completion of the script. Rumors starting cooking up about Jordan making his directorial debut with the movie. Recently, a higher MGM official confirmed that Creed III will mark Jordan’s debut as a director.
