Euphoria Season 2 is all set to Return in 2021, Creator Confirms, Release Date, and other Upcoming Drama

In summer 2019, HBO dropped an amusing series for its Gen-Z audiences – Euphoria. Show by Barry Levinson’s son Sam Levinson and produced by Drake, Euphoria became a fan favorite in no time. Led by Zendaya in a mind-boggling performance as drug addict Rue Bennett, the show perfectly displayed the true emotions, trauma, raw sentiments of Gen-Z.

Every aspect of the show made a special place in viewers’ hearts and garnered positive reviews from the critics and the audience. The success of the Euphoria SO1 made the creators announce the second season of the series in 2019, right after the season 1 release.

When the second season of Euphoria will release?

As with all of HBO’s releases, Euphoria‘s production was put on hold in March 2020 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Following the 2020 Emmys, HBO president Casey Bloys confirmed that Euphoria season 2 production is back on track, and just like season 1, it will also make its debut in the early of Summer 2021.

Will the whole original cast of Euphoria return for season 2?

It’s safe to assume that, Emmy winner Zendaya and Angus Cloud are going to reprise their role in season 2. Recently the showrunner Sam Levinson also confirmed that Rue is still alive and season 2 will explore some other hidden aspects of her life.

And while season 1 ended with Jules hopping a train out of town, Hunter Schafer spoke to EW about her hopes for her character’s season 2 arc, seemingly confirming she’ll also be reprising her role.
