Las Vegas April 2021 Shows & Events

This post has been updated for 2021 to include a variety of fun things to do in Las Vegas during the month of April, including open, nighttime, and family-friendly events.

Here is a list of top events and shows you don’t want to miss this April.

  1. Attend a concert

You can still expect hundreds of well-known musical artists to play in Las Vegas, no matter what time of year it is. When they’re in town, the majority of them perform several concerts!

April isn’t a slouch when it comes to concerts, with the following offerings:

  • ZZ Top – April 9th – 17th
  • Tech N9ne – April 24th
  • Ice Cube – April 24th
  • Cypress Hill – April 24th
  • Lea Salonga – April 25th
  • Brett Young – April 30th

2. Go to a Sporting event

The Covid-19 pandemic has severely hampered sporting activities, and although many sports are still being played, not all of them are available to the public. This may change as the vaccine spreads, but there are no games planned for live audiences this month. However, before giving up on the opportunity to watch your favourite team in action, we suggest checking to see if tickets are still available.

3. Watch a musical

While traditional theatre isn’t always a strong suit in Las Vegas, you can usually rely on at least one travelling Broadway or hit musical every month.

From the 1st to the 4th of April, you can see the cult classic film Tootsie brought to the stage in musical form.

4. Attend a stand-up comedy show

Just as musicians seem to flock to Las Vegas all year, you’ll find a plethora of well-known comedians playing in this town at almost any time.

If you’re looking for a good laugh, the following stand-up comedians will be performing in Vegas this April:

  • George Lopez – April 3rd
  • Marc Savard – April 1st to 22nd
  • Rich Little – April 1st to 30th

Even if you can’t get tickets for one of these shows, there are many comedy clubs in this area, such as the Laugh Factory and the Comedy Cellar, where you can enjoy a few laughs every day of the week.

5. A Tourist Attraction Discount Pass will help you save money.

A tourist pass could save you up to 50% on ticket prices if you choose to visit multiple attractions, take multiple tours, or see multiple shows while in Las Vegas.

These programmes are particularly useful if you want to participate in 4-5 different activities a day, but some passes also allow you to save money on only 2-3 tickets.

6. Go on a Food Tour

Everyone knows there’s plenty of great food to be found in Las Vegas, but with so many options, how do you know where to begin?
