Violet Evegarden a Kyota Animation

Japanese Light novel, Violet Evergarden written by Kana Akatsuki. It is illustrated by Akiko Takase. In 2014, this novel bagged a grand prize in the fifth Kyoto Animation Award’s novel category. It is the first work of its kind to receive a grant award in three categories that are novel, scenario, and manga.

Violet Evergarden, season one consists of 13 episodes and is an anime television series. It was adapted by Kyoto Animation and was aired between January to April 2018. In 2019 at Crunchyroll Anime Awards, this animation received an award for Best Animation. Violet Evergarden The Movie, was also released on 18 September 2020.

When the season 2 is going to be released?

As per some unnamed source, Kyoto Animation is working on the pre-production of the second season of the anime but no confirmation is been given by the company or the makers yet.

It is also being said that the new season will be dropping out soon, most probably by 2021 or at the beginning of 2022. Season one ended with some unsaid endings which need to be completed, hence there is a huge possibility that the company will drop out of the season very soon. 

Is Violet Evergarden based on a real-life and story?

The story is based on a light novel written by Kana Akatsuki. The makers and writers of the animation have not said anything like that about the animation. hence, it would be a no, the animation is not based on any real-life story.

The storyline of season one?

Season one revolves around Violet Evergarden, who was a soldier. After the war ends, she tries to find her own space and identity in society. As she struggles with the same, she remembers the last words of her guardian Major Gilbert, which were “I Love You”
