‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ Starring LeBron James all set to Premiere Soon

1996 Space Jam is finally getting its sequel. ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ will be also a live-action/animated movie like the first one. The film began with its production in June 2019 will soon be in theatres and on HBO Max.

The motion picture will stamp the first theatrical-release to include the Looney Tunes characters since Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003), and just like the past Space Jam(1996) starring Michael Jordan movieit’ll be a combination of live-action and conventional hand drawn 2D artwork with a few CGI impacts.

The movie is directed by Malcolm D. Lee and produced by Ryan Coogler, LeBron James, Maverick Carter and Duncan Henderson. It is scheduled to release on June 16, 2021.

James took it to Twitter to share the movie posters and officially announce his film is only four months away. He captioned the posters, “Y’ALL NOT READY FOR THIS SQUAD!!!!”

Plotline

When basketball champion and worldwide icon LeBron James and his youthful boy Dom (Cedric Joe). He dreams of being a video game developer – are caught in a virtual space by a rebel evil computer named Al-G Rhythm (Don Cheadle).

LeBron must get his son and others home securely by driving Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Lola Bunny and the full group of famously undisciplined Looney Tunes to triumph over the Al-G’s digitized champions on the court.

Along this cast we will see several cameo roles played by the famous NBA players like Klay Thompson, Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, Chris Paul, Draymond Green, and Kyle Kuzma. From Women’s NBA players we will see Diana Taurasi, Nneka Ogwumike and Chiney Ogwumike too in the film.
