The Chinese-based company Redmi, also known as Xiaomi or MI is India’s number one smartphone brand. Though it’s a Chinese-based company 90 percent of it’s smartphones are manufactured in India. MI recently announced the launch of it’s Redmi note 10 series of smartphones. The successor of the Redmi note 9 launched last year.
The phone was revealed on Thursday 4th March 2021. Redmi note 10 series of smartphones includes Redmi note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. All three models are 4G and don’t support 5G. The launch of the phone was held in an online event.
Price
Redmi note 10 is considered to be the most affordable smartphone priced at around ₹12,000 for the 4GB Ram with 64GB storage and ₹ 14,000 for 6GB Ram with 128GB storage. Redmi Note 10 Pro is priced at around ₹ 15 to 20,000 for 64GB and 128GB variants respectively.
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max costs around ₹19,000 to ₹2,0000 for the 64GB and the 128GB variants. The launch of the phone was held at around 12 noon. The event was held on Redmi’s social media handle and on its YouTube channel. The updates of the smartphone launch was brought out by today’s tech too.
Note 10 is featured with a super AMOLED display. It runs on 60 Hz panel with the expected display screen size of 6.43 inches. Mi 10 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 SoC. It has android 11 and MIUI 12.
The phone comes with a quad-camera setup and a rear camera. It consists of 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel microlenses and 2-megapixel depth sensor. Battery life is the first thing customers see when it comes to buying a phone. Redmi Note 10 comes with a 5000 mAh battery with fast charging facility. The battery with last from morning till night nonstop. With one-time charging.
Features
Features of the Redmi note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max are almost similar. The smartphones have a display screen that sizes up to 67 inch with a super AMOLED and 120HZ refresh rate. Unlike Redmi Note 10, Redmi note 10 pro and Redmi note 10 Pro Max too is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor. These phones won’t support 5G.
The phone has a quad rear camera consisting of 108 – megapixel main sensors, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lense, a 5-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It comes with a 16-megapixel front camera. Redmi note 10 pro has a 64-megapixel main camera while other sensors remain the same. Both smartphones have 5020 mAh batteries with a 33W fast charger.
Redmi Note 10 comes in three different colors that is Aqua green, frost white, and shadow black. Redmi note 10 pro and Redmi note 10 pro max come in Dark night, glacier blue and vintage bronze colours. The phones will be on sale from 17 March onwards through amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and offline retail stores.
