Justice Smith In New Avatar

Genera+ion to Release on 11 March: Fans Gush over Justice Smith's New Look

After coming out as a queer publically during Black Lives Movement, Smith is ecstatic to play the role of Chester. Chester, a fashion-forward and transparently eccentric high schooler who finds himself at chances with the conservative-minded grown-ups around him. Justice has done “justice” to his role. Fans admired and appreciated his look in Genera+ion.

Smith even talked about the show saying, “These are all very different stories, but it’s just we’re in a new zeitgeist now where we’re accurately depicting what adolescent life is like. I’m also grateful for HBO Max to be this platform to say, here are these three different shows, very different shows, that all accurately depict what adolescent life is like. I think shows about teenagers have been made into a genre, and we are kind of ripping that genre open.”
