Each year India releases a number of movies in the theatre and on streaming platforms. And there are some movies which we wait for a long time just after seeing the trailer. India will release a lot of movies this year including the movies which got postponed last year because of the coronavirus pandemic. But the studios are still a little cautious in releasing a movie in theatre because it is a possibility that the movies can fail.

That’s why many movies are releasing on streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar, and other streaming platforms. Here we are recommending 5 movies you should watch when they get released.

1. ROOHI:

Roohi will release on the 11th of March.  The movie was supposed to be released last year but got shelved because of the pandemic. This movie is sort of like a sequel to stree. The movie is also from the horror/thriller genre and the same people who made Stree is behind this project too. Stree got an amazing response from both the critics as well as the audience. Let’s wait for this movie to release. Jhanvi Kapoor and Raj Kumar Rao are playing the main characters.

2. SANDEEP AUR PINKY FARAAR:

The director of this movie is not other than the critically acclaimed Dibakar Banerjee. The movie has Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor in the main role and will be based in Haryana and will be a dark comedy. The movie is going to be released on the 19th of March. This movie too got shelved for one year. It was supposed to be released last year in March.

3. SAINA:

We all know who Saina Nehwal is. The legendary Indian badminton player. The movie will be strictly based on the life of her struggle and the journey of her life till she became a great badminton player. The movie has Parineeti Chopra playing her character. The trailer looks promising. The movie will be released on the 26th of March this year in theatres. The movie is directed by Amole Gupte.
