Delhi Crime was one of the best web series in India. It was released on Netflix on the 23rd of March 2019. And was loved by the audience of not just India. But around the world on how this show captured the sensibility of the matter, it was also in the good hands. It is written and directed by Richie Mehta. He is a new director with a handful of projects but you can feel his passion for this work through just this show.

The show was also loved by critics around the world. The show just won an Emmy which is a big achievement of Indian Web series or Tv shows for that matter. It had a huge star cast with the likes of Denzil Smith, Shefali Shah, Gopal Dutt. Rajesh Tailang, Sidharth Bhardwaj, Rasika Dugal, Yashaswini Dayama, Adil Hussain, and Anurag Arora.

THE STORY OF SEASON 1

The story follows the aftermath of the Nirbhaya gang-rape case, with DCP Vartika Chaturvedi as the main character. The first episode established the horrible event that took place in South Delhi. And DCP Vartika Chaturvedi gave the case to her most trusted companions.

The second episode focuses on the search for the bus in which the incident took place. The episode also focuses on the backlash from Media in delaying justice. The third episode reveals many new things. After they have captured Jai Singh who was driving that bus. The night incident took place and the search for his 5 friends started.

This episode fully focuses on capturing the criminals and the struggles of the Delhi Police. The last three episodes also focus primarily on capturing the criminals with a twist in the last episode.

There is no official date for the show to be released. There is just one announcement that the show has been renewed for the second season among others. The is no disclosure on what will be the plot of this show too.
