MEMENTO:

Table of Contents

Long before Christopher Nolan directed the greatest trilogy of all time. The Dark Knight Trilogy, he was in the small production business. Long before his movies were one of the few movies which earned a billion dollars at the box office. His style of telling a story has a pattern that he plays with time. He did the same thing in Memento.

The movie is, if explained literally is in backward. You get to know how the character reached a certain point in the movie after the deed is done. There is no bomb under the table. The whole movie is a puzzle where our character is figuring out things, a case on how his wife was murdered with a massive twist in the end.

ZODIAC:

Alas! the master of the thriller. In my opinion, this is David Fincher’s masterpiece. Beautifully crafted. The movie is based on the real-life events of a Psychopath named Zodiac in the 1970s in California. It has a massive star cast like Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo with many more. This is not a fast-paced movie.

You need to follow the case as our character is also finding this psychopath who is on a murder spree. David Fincher also plays with your mind in establishing a thrilling scene like no other director. It’s a must-watch for not just thriller lovers but the cinema lovers.

BURIED:

How will you feel if you wake up. And you are in a coffin buried in the ground with a matchstick and phone with a bad signal? Yeah! This is the whole movie and Ryan Reynolds plays the role beautifully. But it was directed by Rodrigo Cortés. And it did not perform well at the box-office but the movie is worth your shot. It actually holds you by your breath as the character’s breath is running out and he is suffocating. A beautiful yet cruel masterpiece.
