As the trade of smartphones have been restricted by the US government the business is struggling and there isn’t any new growth. So for the solution, the CEO of Huawei, Ren Zhengfei has planned to launch an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Pig Farming Project. This may bring new growth to the company. On February 15, 2021, there was an announcement on Weibo, the Chinese micro-blogging platform, from Duan Aijun, the president of machine vision business, about the launch of the project.

As we all know that China has the largest pig farming industry in the world, the Huawei may be looking forward to utilising it. China’s massive pig farming industry which is evolving from a series of small, backyard businesses into a more modernised, large-scale farming requiring hi-tech support. The owner of the South China Morning Post, JD.com, NetEase, and Alibaba Group Holding, is all set to provide a technological upgrade to China’s Pig Farming industry.
