His first book was awarded as the Best Books Of The Year 2007 by Publisher Weekly. In 2011 the book was among the top 100 books of NPR’s science, fiction fantasy books. He was also awarded David Gemmell Legend Award in 2012. The same year his book was tanked 3rd by Locus for Best 21st century fantasy fictional novel.
Doors of Stone Release Date, The Name of the wind is based on the fictional world of Temerant. Which is a large continent and one part is divided into four and is called the four corners of civilization. Again the four corners of civilization are subdivided into several nations having a distinct culture. The world follows one religion which is similar to medieval Christianity.
At the beginning of the novel storytelling is telling a story to the readers about an old wizard named Taborlin the great then the story revolves around Taborlin’s life and the life of other characters of the novel. The touch of magic and supernatural powers is also seen in the novel. There are people who are trained to use magical powers whereas there are some who are not aware of the presence of magic and its use. They don’t even believe the fact about the existence of magic.
The writer says he’s making changes to the original story in the Door of Stones. He had written the trilogy before the Doors of Stone Release Date is announced. He’s busy editing and rewriting few chapters of the Door of Stones. He said the book will be shorter than the second book ‘The Wise Man’s fear.’ He even says there is no deadline for the release of the book it will get released the day it gets complete.
