The Real Reason Why No One in Casting Taylor Lautner in Hollywood

Who can forget the cute muscled werewolf from the Twilight series played by Taylor Lautner? With his good looks and a very bassed voice, he was the heartthrob for young souls out there, after the release of the movie.

Even now, years after the release of the last movie in the franchise Twilight Breaking Dawn: Part 2, watching him on screen is a spectacle indeed (pun intended!). But it is not new news that the young actor couldn’t make it into the show business not only as well as his costars but also just not failed.

Set to be someone who was said to be one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, the actor has failed to create a niche for himself in the show business. Read on to found out why the stars didn’t just turn out so for the star himself!

The Real Reason Why No One in Casting Taylor Lautner in Hollywood

How Taylor Lautner failed to see it coming

The young star failed at the prospect of building up a successful career but rather waited for gold to strike him is how the so-called sources put in.

When his co-stars in the show, Kristen Stewart who played his much-acclaimed tricky love interest as Bella Cullen (name changed after getting married and becoming a vampire), and Robert Pattinson who played Bellas love interest and vampire husband as Edward Cullen; the tricky love triangle was definitely one for the stories.

Pattinson is a cult favorite after portraying the much-loved character of Cedric Diggory in the Blockbuster Harry Potter movie franchise, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. So it is not a surprise when offers started pouring in for the rose-cheeked English actor.

Faded hype

While still in the Twilight series franchise, both the actors starred in other movies such as Adventureland and Water For Elephants.

It is said that it is not an easy task to transition from a super hit movie franchise to doing other films and it is truly hard to get out of all that stardom and start your career from scratch when all the show buzz starts to slow down. However, he had only a cameo in Valentine’s Day to hold on to.

Box office bomb

In his attempt to get out of the Twilight bubble and get out of the Jacob spectrum, the movie Abduction released in 2011 was the one way put. But the movie failed to do well at the box office and earned a humiliating 4 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

That wouldn’t be so bad if the box office numbers were better, but the movie made only $28 million dollars, not even breaking even on its $35 million budget
