Jason Bourne is a CIA agent from the Bourne film series. He is a fictional character which is created by author Robert Ludlum. It is played by an American actor and producer Matt Damon.
Bourne film series is full of five blockbusters German-American action thriller films in which a CIA agent is suffering from Amnesia and he is running from one part of the world to another so that he can figure out his existence.
Bourne Film series
The Bourne Film series started in the year 2002 with the franchise’s debut movie ‘The Bourne Identity’ and then this super hit franchise went on and on and gave four more hit movies.
In 2004 it released the second movie called ‘The Bourne Supremacy’ which is followed by the 2007th movie ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’. The fourth film in the Bourne film series is ‘The Bourne Legacy’ (2012) and fifth and most recent movie in the Bourne franchise is ‘Jason Bourne’ (2016).
There was something different in the fourth film
The fourth film didn’t show Matt Damon as Jason Bourne as this movie introduced the new character Aaron Cross which is played by Jeremy Renner.
In the whole movie, he is running from one place to other because of Bourne’s actions in the third installment of the Bourne series. Matt Demon wasn’t the part of this movie because Paul Greengrass didn’t direct the movie but he did reprise his role of Jason Bourne in the fifth installment of the series.
Are two stars coming together?
After that, there were rumours flying around that Jeremy Renner and Matt Damon will team up for Jason Bourne Movie.
The producer of the hit film series Frank Marshall came forward and tell what he thinks on putting Jeremy and Matt in the same Jason Bourne film to which he clearly answered, “No, not really. I think they are separate characters, and I don’t think we’re ever going to see them together.”
Frank also mentioned that two different characters will showcase two different movies which will star both of the talented actors separately.
So folks for now all we can tell is that Jeremy Renner and Matt Damon aren’t teaming up for Jason Bourne Movie.
