Snoop Dogg Backing DogeCoin after Elon Musk, Rises 50%, Price, Prediction & Live Chart

After watching DogeCoin trending on the crypto market and on social media for the past couple of days, American rapper Snoop Dogg has also joined the party to boost the digital currency. The value of the digital currency, DogeCoin has reached an all-time high following the tweets from Elon Musk and Snoop Dogg. Even Kiss rock star Gene Simmons tweeted about the meme-inspired cryptocurrency and boosted the value.

DogeCoin’s value skyrocketed by 55% on Sunday afternoon following the boost by unofficial boosters of the digital currency. Elon Musk has been hailed as the DOGE booster-in-chief for his continuous effort to raise the value of cryptocurrency. Now, when Snoop Dogg became Snoop DOGE, the value has risen an all-time high of $0.0872 on Sunday afternoon.

Musk previously boosted the value by 20 to 30 per cent when the cryptocurrency was trading at $0.034, but the boost helped to reach around $0.050. Before Snoop Dogg and Gene Simmons expressed their support, the digital currency was trading at $0.056. But later, the value rose up to $0.0872, making the highest intraday high surpassing previous $0.078, set on last month.

Gene Simmons kicked the latest boosting campaign

Kick rockstar, Gene Simmons started the latest round of online boosting of the cryptocurrency by tweeting a photo of himself captioning, God of DogeCoin on Saturday. Snoop Dogg then tweeted a photo of himself, in which the face was edited to Shiba Inu dog and the text mentioned, Snoop DOGE. The rapper also tagged the DOGE booster-in-chief, Elon Musk in his tweet.

Musk, who also serves as the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, quickly saw the mention and made another DOGE-pumping post. He previously posted an image, in which he edited his face on Lion King’s Rafiki and Shiba Inu dog on Simba’s image. Now, he again posted the Lion King-inspired meme, where he is holding Simmons, Simmons is holding Snoop Dogg, and finally, Snoop is holding the Shiba Inu dog.

The Shiba Inu dog is the logo of DogeCoin, which was inspired from popular doge meme back in 2013.
