It’s hard to see when two people who are in love can’t stay together how hard they try. Sometimes it just can’t happen because it is not meant to happen or some other reason.
The same thing happened with the two big names in the entertainment industry. The English singer and American actor weren’t able to make their relationship work despite trying two times. Tatum and Jessie dated on and off between 2018 and 2020.
Tatum and Jessie’s whole Relationship
Last year in October Tatum and Jessie parted their forever. We are presenting these lovebirds love story.
– 2018 wasn’t a good year for Tatum as he parted his way from his wife Jenna Dewan. After his separation, he was spotted with the English singer and songwriter Jessie J. In October 2018 Tatum and Jessie were spotted together for the first time in Seattle. At that time a source told People that, “It’s very new.”
After that, in October they were spotted together playing golf. A source told Entertainment Tonight that, “Channing and Jessie’s relationship is very new. They truly just hit it off. It’s been six months since Channing and Jenna separated and Channing really likes Jessie.” A source told E! News that Channing’s ex-wife is ok with him dating.
In November 2018 both of them starred attending each other shows. In November the American star attended Jessie show at Wiltern theater with his little angel. And after Channing Jessie attended the opening night of Tatum’s show ‘Magic Mike Live’ in London. She supported his show and shared a story on her Instagram.
Later he attended another Jessie’s show in London. This time he posted singer’s picture in Instagram and wrote, “This woman just poured her heart out on stage at Royal Albert Hall. Whoever was there got to witness something special. Wow.”
– In 2019 they came close. In February 2019 Tatum started flirting with Jessie on social media. After English lady posted a picture of herself in bikini and surrounded with food.
Tatum came into the game and commented, “Hottest Instagram food model in the game right now.”
In March 2019 Tatum dedicated a whole post for Jessie as it was her birthday.
On the post, he wrote, “Wishing you the happiest day filled with all the love and all the light. You came into this world on this day and lit it on fire. You have blessed our eyes, our ears, our hearts and our lives. So thank you for just being you. You are so very special. Happy Birthday, Baby.” Ooh how cute? This post of Tatum and his cute message made it clear that the singer and actor was an item.
In the same month, a source told New! Magazine that, “Jessie and Channing’s relationship has been going from strength to strength lately, which has really taken their friendship by surprise. In fact, things have to get so serious they’ve been discussed getting hitched, which isn’t too surprising when you consider that Channing is a really mature guy who knows exactly what he wants.”
The insider later added, “He’s been married before so it’s not a scary topic for him and he’s certainly not afraid of commitment, while Jessie has been desperate to find the one for some time now after a few failed relationships, and she thinks Channing could be him. She’s pinching herself she’s so happy.”
In April 2019 the couple celebrated Tatum’s birthday together and Jessie shared their picture together on social media.
In May 2019 Tatum posted a naked picture of himself on Instagram after losing a bet to Jessie.
After that couple kept on posting each other pictures on Instagram and actor continued posting Flirty comments on Jessie’s posts. As time passed by their feelings for each other became stronger and deeper.
In June 2019 in an interview, she was asked if she and Tatum had talked about having babies together to which the British singer said, “No, just because he’s Channing Tatum everyone’s kind of sped us up into this, like, ‘are you getting married? Are you doing this?’ I mean, I’ve been in relationships for a lot longer than Chan and I have in the last four, five years but they’re not famous so no one really cares.”
She further added, “We’re having a lovely time. And I’m very, very respectful of his situation and his privacy. Yeah. But he looks great naked in the shower.”
Later she and Tatum attended the last night of ‘Magic Mike Live’ together and shared the moment through her social media account.
In August 2019 reports came claiming that Tatum is moving to the UK so that he can live with his girlfriend. An insider told The Sun that, “Jessie and Channing’s relationship has been going from strength to strength. They still spend a lot of time in America, but when they’re in the UK they find quite London quite intense so enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the countryside. The property they’ve been using suits them down to the ground as it’s not too far from London, but it’s really relaxing and away from all the noise so that they can spend quality time together.”
In September 2019 Tatum was spotted in one more Jessie’s show at Rock in Rio in Brazil.
November 2019 was hard for the couple as they broke up.
In December 2019 Us Weekly said, “Channing and Jessie broke up about a month ago. They are still really close and still good friends.”
People also came forward and tried to explain the situation. People reported, “There wasn’t any drama. They just decided to part ways. Channing and Jessie have different priorities and focuses that don’t really align. They have a fun relationship, but it just didn’t work out. Channing needs to be in LA so he can spend time with Everly. Jessie prefers England.”
– In January 2020 the exes were back together as they were spotted hanging out in Los Angeles.
A source told E! News that, “They took a few weeks apart but ultimately decided they really care about each other. Jessie has been staying at Channing’s house this past week and they’re super-giddy around each other.”
After few days Channing confirmed the story when he posted their picture together and wrote, ”Gonna watch this unicorn sang tonight. Then we gonna get it in! Horns out!”
In January only Tatum stood for his girlfriend online when some Instagram user commented, “Jenna looks better with you”. To this, the actor replied, ”Hey Alex I don’t usually address shit like this. But you seem as good an of terrible happy people hating thoughtless person as any of them. Why don’t you seriously think about what you’re doing? It’s hurtful and I ain’t about it.” He later added, “If you can’t not be horrible, a hateful person on my page and support the infinite and untouchable beauty and woman that Jess is… please kindly get TF out of here. No one wants you here. Especially me.”
Later in January, they made their first red carpet appearance at the MusiCares Person of the year awards.
The very next day they again grace the red carpet together but this time they were together on the red carpet at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala.
In February online she was spotted spending time Tatum’s daughter.
In April 2020 couple split up again. A source told People that, “They cared enough about each other to try again but realized to move on. It’s totally amicable.”
A source told The Sun that,” Jessie and Channing really care for each other. You only need to look at the gushing posts that made about each other during their relationship to see that. That’s why they wanted to give their romance another shot, but sadly it hasn’t worked out. The split was amicable and they’re still in contact. They’re spending time apart and are open to meeting new people. But you shouldn’t bet against another reunion in the future.”
Even after their split, Jessie wished Tatum on his birthday through her Instagram account.
It was sad how they weren’t able to make their relationship work out.
