It now seems that Cox is likely to return as Matt Murdock in future MCU movies. Moreover, now some reports are saying that the actor is “as good as confirmed to return” as Daredevil. Though nothing is fully confirmed as yet, until Marvel Studios makes it official, but according to sources, Feige really wants Cox to come back to MCU and he is well expected to make a return soon. We will even get to see him in Spider-Man 3 as Peter’s lawyer.

When questioned on whether there’s any truth to the rumours regarding the return of Charlie Cox, Marvel boss Kevin Feige said, “I look at anything that’s happened before, whether it’s our movies, whether it’s Marvel entertainment TV series, in particular, obviously the comics, video games, cartoons, all of it is available as inspiration for the future of Marvel,” he told Collider. “That’s the way that comics have worked for many years. So, we’ll see.”

With rumours regarding Charlie Cox’s return as Daredevil, fans are even expecting MCU to bring back Jon Bernthal as the Punisher. Some sources also reported that, there is a “new Punisher project in the works with the same actor from Netflix”. Feige has been questioned repeatedly to get some hints, and now he has provided us with a really vital update, saying, “Everything is on the board. That’s one of the fun things about the comics is that characters would appear and disappear and come and go. All of it is inspiration for the future. There are some great characters and actors from those shows.”

Even Jon Bernthal has shared his thoughts, saying, “It’s unbelievably humbling how much people sort of responded to this version of Frank, and I can’t tell you how much it means to me because he means so much to me. He’s in my blood, he’s in my bones… So it’s not about whether we do it, it’s about getting it right, and doing the version that the fans really deserve. We’ll see. I mean, all of those decisions are made in rooms I am not invited into… But Frank’s always there, he’s always a part of me.”
