Hannibal star Mads Mikkelsen is about to join Benedict Cumberbatch in Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness. Here’s all you need to know.
Who is Mads Mikkelsen
Mads Dittmann Mikkelsen, is Danish by origin, who was initially a gymnast and dancer, and later rose to fame as an actor for his role in the first two films of the Pusher film trilogy. The actor was born on 22 November 1965, at Østerbro, Denmark. He is 55 years old now.
Mads Mikkelsen also had some previous ties with Marvel Cinematic Universe, as once he was in their choice to play Malekith The Accursed in Alan Taylor’s Thor: The Dark World. However, the deal did not work out and the actor joined the brilliant NBC series, Hannibal.
Mads Mikkelsen Joining Doctor Strange
Rumours are swirling up that Mads Mikkelson will be joining Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Tilda Swinton, in Scott Derrickson’s Doctor Strange. There has no official announcement from Marvel and therefore we are not sure about the specific role that Mikkelson would play, but according to sources, he could be playing a villain in the movie.
Feige, the president of Marvel Studios said, “The next Doctor Strange film, for instance, features some new MCU characters that will be making their debut in that movie. You won’t expect or won’t guess who it is but we found a cool way to make it work because we want to make a particular type of movie there and there was a character we always wanted to do something with who will fit really well there.”
