The popular CBS drama, Young Sheldon is again going on yet another hiatus. Freshman Orientation and the Inventor of the Zipper, the sixth episode aired on January 21, 2021, after an almost a month hiatus. CBS will be broadcasting old episodes during the next two weeks timeslot. The third and the fifth episode of the current fourth season will air on the network during the two-week break.
CBS has, however, released the title and synopsis for the upcoming seventh episode. The network didn’t reveal why the show is on hiatus but reports suggest that it has to do with the coronavirus pandemic. So, the next episode — A Philosophy Class and Worms That Can Chase You — will officially air on the network on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at 8 pm EST on CBS Network.
Young Sheldon Season 4 Episode 7: Preview
Iain Armitage’s Sheldon Cooper finally achieved his dream to go to college, but the orientation didn’t go as planned. In the same episode, Dr Strugis gets a job at the SSC but this upsets Mary. Mary who thought Dr Strugis would be around while Sheldon goes to college and look after him. Sheldon, however, is happy that Dr Strugis got the job at such a prestigious establishment.
Mary takes Sheldon to the college, but he insists to explore the first day by himself and asks his mother to stay away from her while at college. Soon he leaves Mary to navigate all by himself, spills smoothie, gets stung by a bee, and rips his pant. However, he makes to the orientation exhausted and stuck duct tape around him. Meanwhile, Mary reunites with Sam, with him she met in earlier seasons.
Sam’s friends mistake Mary for one of the college students and invite her to a party. Connie is upset that she didn’t get a call from Dr Strugis before leaving to the new job. But, he had mailed her a letter and becomes cheerful after reading it. The next episode is interesting as Sheldon would be attending his first class in the college and will be going head-to-head with the philosophy teacher, Professor Ericson.
