Grey’s Anatomy holds a noticeably big fanbase, and over the years, it has grown into something we did like to continue over the years. It is an American medical drama premiered on March 27, 2005, on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) as a mid-season replacement.
This imaginary series focuses on the lives of surgical interns, residents, and attendings as they turn into seasoned doctors while balancing personal and professional relationships. It’s by far the longest-running scripted primetime show currently airing on ABC & as of February 28, 2019, it is the longest-running American primetime medical drama series.
Gray’s Anatomy is an allusion to a classic human anatomy textbook first published in 1858 in London and written by Henry Gray. Created by Shonda Rhimes, she continues to write the series.
It has received many awards, including the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series – Drama and a total of thirty-eight Primetime Emmy Award nominations, including two for Outstanding Drama Series. Even the actors have received quite a lot of awards for their outstanding acting skills.
Plot
It revolves around Dr. Meredith Grey, who is the daughter of general surgeon Ellis Grey. In the beginning, she is shown as an intern and later becomes chief of general surgery while exploring the ups and downs of a surgeon’s life.
Her intern years are spent with Cristina Yang, Izzie Stevens, Alex Karev and George O’Malley, struggling to balance their personal lives adjusting to hectic schedules and stressful residency requirements. It follows these interns’ lives, and with each season, it s, hows the physicians’ academic year.
With each completed year, the residents are qualified at a level higher in the surgical field. Each episode reveals the interaction between the doctor and the patient; after the diagnosis, it usually leads to surgery.
The surgeons develop a personal connection with the patients, and after the patient often conveying a message to his or her doctor, which unintentionally relates to the doctor’s private life.

We enjoyed the new season when the pandemic hit us; Season 17 characters have had a difficult episode with the doctors trying to fight the Coronavirus pandemic. The Season 17 finale left fans on the edge after it aired on December 17 and then went to a mid-season break.
The next episode, i.e., episode 7 of Season 17, is supposed to return on Thursday, March 4, 2021, in this season’s timeslot of 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT. It will be quite an amazing show after it returns since we have been waiting patiently. After it aired on ABC, it will shortly after being available on Hulu and ABC website.
