The release of Unchartered as a movie has created quite the Buzz. All the gamers who have spent a major part of their gaming life playing this famous game are waiting eagerly for this movie to be released. The movie has been delayed a lot so the final release and production news of the movie has given everyone something to look forward to.
The movie is being starred by the famous actor of Spiderman Tom Holland. His potential matches the character of Nathan Drake from the original game.
The adventures of the character will be captured by the acting of Tom Holland. Looking at his previous movies, it is sure that he will be quite apt for this role, not to mention his knack for action movies has been pretty much the talk of the town.
But let us talk about the other characters of the movie.
Mark Wahlberg as Sully in the movie.
Considering the movie has been delayed for so long, the script has also been written quite a lot of times. In fact, out of all the people, Mark Wahlberg has been quite familiar with the script.
He was initially also given the role of the lead character of Nathan Drake, but later on, when the movie got finalized, his personality was seen better fitting for the role of Sully from the original game Unchartered.
The role was also given after much thought. But they thought that giving Mark this role would also be better in the long run when they have to make sequels for the movie. Sully is Nathan’s future mentor in the original game.
When is the movie going to release?
After being delayed and replanned so many times, the movie is finally going to be released in the month of March in 2021. The casting is all finalized and the production process is good to go. We are definitely excited to see how the movie is going to be and how similar or different it is going to be from the original movie.
