Xur has again shown up within Destiny 2’s world. He appears every Friday at any of the game’s four worlds. The vendor also brings some of the cool stuff like exotic weapons, gauntlets, armours, and helmets. However, if a player wants to exchange the items brought by the vendor, he needs to have enough Legendary Shards. If you don’t have a Legendary Shards, make sure to collect enough before visiting Xur.
Where is Xur?
Xur mainly appears in two or three common places. It is true that the vendor never repeats his location for two consecutive weeks, but returns after two weeks. The most common places where Xur repeatedly shows are Winding Cove, Dead Orbit, and Watcher’s Grave. Last week, Xur appeared near the Tower Hanger. This week on 22 January 2021, Friday, Xur is at Winding Cove on the EDZ. This is one of the public sectors in EDZ, Earth. So, it wouldn’t be that hard to reach the spot.
What items did he bring this time?
When he showed up last time around, he brought two gauntlets, a helmet, and a fusion rifle. Arbalest, The Stag, ACD/0 Feedback Fence, and Oathkeeper are the items, which he brought last week. These items along with other exotic weapons that Xur brings are most common and can be found after completing missions and achievement tasks. The exotic items that Xur brought today are;
Skyburner’s Oath – Exotic Scout Rifle
Lucky Raspberry – Exotic Hunter Chest
Actium War Rig – Exotic Titan Chest
Karnstein Armlets – Exotic Warlock Gauntlets
Xur will be hanging around the sector until next weekly reset on Tuesday, 26 January 2021. The agent used to exchange items with Exotic Shards and Special Coins in the previous game, but Bungie changed the things in Destiny 2. These items are no longer available and that’s why people need Legendary Shards to exchange items. Skyburner’s Oath is 29 Legendary Shards whereas all other three items are worth of 23 Legendary Shards.
