The Controversy
According to some reports, the couple had major conflicts as Mary wanted to have kids, while the 50-year-old banker did not agree with her as he already has three adult children from a previous marriage. Reports also suggest that Olivier is not quite supportive of Mary’s dedication to her business ventures, rather demands her to be more of a “stay-at-home wife”.
Their Relationship
Olsen and Sarkozy have dated over 8 years, since 2012 and it is almost five years that they have tied knot. They have always tried to keep their relationship status low-key and private.
Mary Oslen’s co-star Bob Saget congratulated the couple on their marriage, saying: “I was not invited, but I’m very happy and I sent a Mazel tov text. I’m very happy, I love her very much. I hope they’re happy.”
Another of Olsen’s Full House costars, Dave Coulier said : “I’d like to congratulate Mary-Kate and wish her and her husband all the happiness in the world. Sending my love.”
In the application of her case, Oslen stated: “This application is an emergency because my husband expects me to move out of our home on Monday, May 18, 2020, in the middle of New York City being on pause due to COVID-19. I am petrified that my husband is trying to deprive me of the home we have lived in and if he is successful, I will not only lose my home but I risk losing my personal property as well.”
