Chicago PD season 8 episode 4 delayed: New release date and watch online.
NBC’S Television series Chicago PD is currently having it’s 8th season. Chicago PD season 8 has been only 3 episodes till now. Here’s the update on the upcoming episodes.
New Release Date
Chicago PD season 8 episode 3 was aired on Wednesday 13th January 2021. Now it’s 4th episode is coming on January 27, 2021. The episode will premiere on NBC. The episode 4 title is ‘Unforgiven’. Also the 5th episode titled ‘In Your Care’ will possibly get released on February 3, 2021.
Reasons for Delay
Previously the delay has been started from the 3rd episode of Chicago PD season 8. The real reason is the Capitol riots in the USA. Due to the riots the 3rd episode premiered on January 13 instead of January 6.
Though the 4th episode got delayed because this week’s Wednesday, 20th January 2021, US’s 46th president Joe Biden’s inauguration was held. Naturally the president’s oath ceremony will get premiere priority, that’s why the episode 4 release got delayed.
Plot
Chicago PD is a crime-action drama series. The series tells the story of a fictional army team, who fights with military circumstances. The Navy seal is the primary focus here, and all the officers do their duty and care for their own family.
The main characters here are: Hank(Jason Beghe), Officer Adan Ruzek(Patrick John Flueger), Kim Burgess(Marina Squerciati), Kevin Atwater(LaRoyce), Jalen Walker(Cleveland Berto), Turdy Platt(Amy Morton).
Chicago PD creator Rick Eid has said in an interview that season 8 would “…be a season of dramatic change for many of our characters. New attitudes, new relationships, new beginning…”
The synopsis for episode 4 is: “A cop is murdered, and suspicion falls on someone who has been holding a grudge against the officers; intelligence works hard to solve the case, but Deputy Superintendent Samantha Miller is hesitant to defend him until she knows the whole story.”
