All New Dungeons and Dragons Miniatures: WizKids Tie-up With Critical Role

All new Dungeons and Dragons miniatures: WizKids tie-up with Critical Role.

WizKids and Critical Role are now partners and they are bringing together new sets of Dungeons and Dragons miniatures. The characters of Exandria will come to new life. Players will get many familiar monsters and creatures to use in personal battlefields. That includes ‘gargantuan’ sized Udaak, pre-painted.

Collective Work

Chief Creative Officer and cast member of Critical Role Matthew Mercer is a huge fan of WizKids miniatures. He said: “I’ve been a rabid collector of WizKids minis for…well, a very long time, and to be able to work directly with them to bring the denizens and dangers of Exandria to life for everyone to use is beyond exciting.”

To give a detailed word on their combined work Mercer added: “They bring skills and expertise to their work, and this upcoming collection really captures the characters and atmosphere of Exandria. I think fans of Critical Role, as well as players new to our world, will greatly enjoy this opportunity for deeper play, collaboration and imagination.”

The miniature set will be available in stores from Spring 2021. Customers can preorder it on WizKids website and Amazon too.

The first wave will have five boxed sets of new miniatures. The five sets are: Moonsters of Wildemount: Set I, Monsters of Wildemount: Set II, Fictions of Wildemount- Dwendalian Empire, Factions of Wildemount- Kryn Dynasty and Xhorhar, and Factions of Wildemount- Clovis Concord and Menagerie Coast.
