If you carry a dream to own a Tesla one day, you might be knowing about the car that almost runs like a real human. On the other hand, you might also be one of the PayPal users. All these products and services have gained a huge capital base. But let’s talk about the person behind these masterpieces – Elon Musk.
The Business Tycoon Elon Musk is an industrial designer and an engineer. That is not all, he is also the CEO of his brainchild – Tesla.
The number one electric car over which every man is going gaga. Its features are almost human and make interaction with a machine seem like an idea closer to us than something far fetched in the year 2050. But let’s continue his list of achievements cause it doesn’t stop there.
He is also the founder of The Boring Company, Co-founder of Neuralink, and the co-founder of OpenAI. This article is going to talk about one of the claims he recently made public, something which is related to his own to SpaceX.
The claim by Elon Musk.
Elon Musk claimed recently at an award show that he will, confidently and positively send humans to Mars by 2026. However, he also added that if he becomes successful at the speed he wants to work at, it might also happen in the year 2024.
SpaceX and Nasa have carried out many projects together. In fact, Nasa itself has claimed that they are planning to send humans to Moon by the year 2026. However, they do believe that this is a far fetched dream and may not have a lot of chances to be achieved.
The prototype of Starship, SN8 which Musk is planning on using for this trip to Mars is scheduled for a test sometime soon. They are going to test it by planning a target altitude which is the highest any starship has flown – 9 Miles.
So, does the claim hold any possibilities to be accomplished?
The journey to Mars takes about six months. This also means that the members present on the spacecraft will be exposed to cosmic radiations the entire time which is proven to be extremely harmful to them.
In order to avoid the occurrence of this, the requirements may add up more weight to a spacecraft that has not yet been launched, for a six-month journey.
In addition to this, they will also have to come up with a method to restock and refuel in a manner that should be possible on the planet Mars. So, in conclusion, there a thousand problems that stand between planet Earth and the journey to Mars.
However, we can also not deny the fact that Elon Musk is no ordinary human with an ordinary brain. So, we might actually be proved wrong. Do you think this timeline is achievable? Let us know in the comments below.
