Julia Roberts is one of the finest actresses in the Hollywood film industry. She has been a part o great movies and had worked with some great Actors and Actresses. Her career came in highlight after her peculiar yet amazing performance in Pretty Woman which was released in 1990.
She played the role of a prostitute in the movie. Because of her great performance, She was awarded Golden Globe Award for Best Actress. She has been nominated eight times in the Golden Globe Award, She won three of them. She has also been nominated four times for the academy awards, She won one for the role in Erin Brockovich (2000).
THE LAST THING:
Apple has announced a mini-series for their platform which is going to be adapted from a suspense/thriller novel named “The Last Thing He Told Me” by Laura Dave. The title of the mini-series is going to be the same as the Novel.
In the novel, we follow a character whose husband has been disappeared for a long time and she wants to search and know the truth. In between, she made an unusual relationship with his stepdaughter. The novel is quite an interesting read and we expect the series to be the same.
THE MINI-SERIES:
The mini-series has been cooking under the producer Reese Witherspoon. The script has been written by Laura Dave, the author of the novel, and has been helped by her Husband Josh Singer, who has been a writer of First man which was under the direction of Damien Chazelle, and Spotlight.
Which was under the direction of Tom McCarthy. Julia Roberts has been also cast as one of the leads as well as one of the producers of this show alongside Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter.
