The familiar and popular faces from WWE were a couple few years earlier. John Cena and Nikki Bella, two renowned couples dated for six years and were engaged for just one year. Later, they discontinued their relationship and broke up.

John Cena is a professional wrestler from Massachusetts, U.S. He’s is one of the great wrestlers of his time. Besides wrestling, he has done acting and presented as a television presenter.
Whereas, Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace aka Nikki Bella is also a professional wrestler from California, U.S. Moreover, she was titled WWE Divas Champion, twice and became the first person to hold that status for long.

As they both come from a similar profession, they were friends before they started dating.
2012
They began dating in 2012. It wasn’t in any news headlines but Bella spilt some beans in an interview about how Cena asked her for the first date.
“Hey, do you want to go to dinner with me?’ and I was kind of like, ‘What? With me? It just kind of started out like a dinner date and I have to admit we were friends for so many years, but then when you make it romantic, I couldn’t even say a word to him.” Trible Radio show- Nikki Bella.
so, their Relationship status was official in 2012.
2013
Nikki met Cena’s family and that proved that they will go from holding hands to making vows. They both were in love with each other. Later, they began their live-in relationship.
To be very specific before shifting together, they signed a contract of 75 pages. Which says,” I do not want there to be any misunderstanding regarding your presence at the home as my guest. In the event that I ask you to vacate the home, you agree to immediately vacate the home and remove any and all items you have brought into the home as soon as possible.”
The contract was made by Nikki Bella and Cena accepted it with all his heart.
March 2014
Like every relationship, they both also went through the ups and downs in their relationship. Amazingly, Nikki seemed more engaged in this relationship than Cena. She handled everything kindly. Although, Cena also tried to make things normal from his side.
When it became the news headline, many people who were in love with this beautiful couple felt bad. But later, everything came back to normal.

Things got really unwell for Cena when he got to know about Bella’s secret. Bella was married to her boyfriend before Cena. Cena was unknown about this fact which made feel sad. The event was Bella’s sister wedding. It must have hurt him so much as Nikki didn’t tell him about this, someone else did.

In the episode of Total Divas, views saw the clash between their views.
John Cena says, “I’m trying to be a realist. I’ve told you that I don’t want to get married and I don’t want to have kids, and you do want to get married and you do want to have kids. So I feel like this is a time-bomb over my head.”
Though he was clear from his side and maybe hurt too. We could see different thoughts of both of them about their future plans.

Wrestler Dolph Ziggler, the ex-husband of Bella, was ready to leave Nikki. Nikki was all single and she was with John Cena only.
We saw it on the Total Divas episodes.

He finally proposed. John Cena in front of more than 70 thousand audiences, in between the wrestling ring, went on his knees to propose Nikki Bella. They were at Wrestlemania 33 and they defeated another couple in the wrestling ring.
It was the moment of happiness for all the fans of Cena and Nikki.

Nikki had started planning the dresses for her wedding. She posted a video on her official Instagram account where she seemed all happy and excited for her day.

John Cena cleared Nikki about the power of attorney if he’s on life support. He said that she’s not even on the list of it. It happened on the episode of Total Bellas.
They split again and were very vocal to the media about their relationship. Bella was full of tears in her eyes, Cena was with Bella ‘to death do us part’ said by Cena on the episodes of Total Bellas.

Nikki posted a posted, on her Instagram handle, Cena’s proposal. It was a week after they broke up. Their fans were so happy with the news.
“What a moment, still get chills and tears every time. Honestly feel like the luckiest girl in the world.” She expressed herself.

Bella, finally, announced the breakup of her with Cena. Only one month was left for their wedding, unfortunately, their relationship didn’t work as expected. All of their fans were supportive and accepted the situation.

Nikki posted a picture of her with an inspirational quote in the caption. She seemed to focus on herself more than anything.
Like a roller coaster, their relationship was also full of ups and downs, highs and lows. They tried to stick by each other but eventually broke up. They both moved on and are living their best life.
