The time has finally arrived when the vendor in Destiny 2 appears across the game’s four worlds. Xur, the popular vendor and agent of Nine regularly appears at 12 pm EST on Friday. When he appears he brings lots of cool and exotic items with him that includes weapons, armours, and gauntlets. A player should have enough Legendary Shards to make a trade with the vendor.
Where is Xur, today?
Last week, he appeared near the EDZ at Winding Cove. Xur doesn’t return to the same location in a consecutive week. However, some of the locations are repeated every once in a while. Such locations are mostly the public sector within the game — Watcher’s Grave, Dead Orbitma and Winding Cove. Today on January 15, 2021, Xur showed up at the Tower Hanger.
What has Xur brought today?
Xur regularly brings exotic items with him when he shows up. Apart from the exotic items, the vendor also has consumables and engrams. Last time around, when he appeared, he brought Telesto, Sealed Ahamkara Grasps, Getaway Artist, and Antaeus Wards last week. Most of the players at least once pay him a visit even if they already possess the items, he brings. The items that a player can get from Xur, this week in exchange of Legendary Shards are:
Oathkeeper — Exotic Hunter Gauntlets
ACD/0 Feedback Fence — Exotic Titan Gauntlets
The Stag — Exotic Warlock Helmet
Arbalest — Exotic Linear Fusion Rifle
Xur will be at the same place until the game goes on weekly reset on next Tuesday. If you do not have enough Legendary Shards then you can collect them, before time runs out. Also, collecting Legendary Shards isn’t that hard. If you want to do the hard way, then you can look at some of the public sectors and loot the purple-coloured crystals. However, the easy way is to dismantle the gears and obtain these Shards. These items cost less Legendary Shards, possibly up to 30 Legendary Shards.
