Boruto Naruto Next Generations manga series is currently running in the Kawaki arc, where Isshiki Otsutsuki has been revived and fought against the protagonists of the series. However, in the latest chapter the deadliest antagonist faced defeat at the hands of heroes.
But, things are still not okay as another threat approached the heroes in the form of their own. In the end of chapter 53, the manga teased something brutal and fans are absolutely shocked with the situation that has turned. Viz Media, who licences the release of Boruto Naruto Next Generations manga series confirmed the release date of next chapter. The upcoming chapter, Chapter 54, will release on Viz Media’s Shonen Jump section on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.
Boruto Naruto Next Generations Chapter 54 Preview
Isshiki Otsutsuki has been the strongest villains in the Naruto universe. Fans believes that the character is even stronger than the likes of Madara Uchiha, Obito Uchiha, and Kaguya. However, our heroes have successfully defeated the evil villain, but it wasn’t an easy ride. Thanks to the battle against Isshiki, fans could witness the maximum power level of Naruto and Kurama. The god-level infused power between Naruto and Kurama is called the Baryon Mode.
Naruto’s new power could have taken away is life. Even with the god-like power, he was just able to keep up with Isshiki for few moments. Later, Naruto lost the mode and it looked like the end of heroes at the hand of Isshiki. However, a quick thinking of Sasuke and Kawaki helped Naruto survive from Isshiki’s assault and they killed of the villain. Naruto, Sasuke, and Kawaki were so relieved that they finally won against such villain. But their victory is short-lived.
Boruto’s Karma, which was placed by Momoshiki, got activated shortly after. Momoshiki took control over Boruto’s body and began behaving on his way. When Sasuke was marching towards injured Naruto to check on him, Boruto attacked from the back and stabbed Sasuke’s Rinnegan. The next chapter will reveal the fate of Sasuke. Fans expect some good stuff because the original creator Masashi Kisimoto took over the manga after Chapter 52.
