Young Sheldon will not return this week, meaning fans will have to wait another week to watch the sixth episode. The previous episode aired back in December 17, 2020 and the show is currently in winter break. However, several shows have returned airing following the winter break but looks like Young Sheldon is slightly delayed.
CBS will air an old episode during the Young Sheldon’s timeslot this week. The next episode will air next Thursday, on January 21, 2020 at 8 pm EST. CBS has also revealed the official synopsis for the upcoming episode. The episode is titled Freshman Orientation and the Inventor of the Zipper, which will feature Sheldon’s first day at college at such a young age.
Young Sheldon Season 4 Episode 6 Preview
As the upcoming episode title suggests, Sheldon will start is college life as a young genius. Sheldon is certainly excited because he has always wished for advance level of education for enriching his knowledge and intelligence. However, the first day at college doesn’t seem to go as planned for Sheldon. The orientation program at college goes awry for Sheldon.
Meanwhile, Mary receives an invitation to a party. The inviter mistakes her for a university student and subsequently invites her to a party. Elsewhere, Pastor Jeff is trying to set up a nursery for childrens. He asks George Sr. for help and George accepts his request and he helps Pastor set up the nursery.
Apart from the network, the upcoming episode will be available to stream on CBS All Access and Amazon Prime Video. The previous episodes of the fourth season as well as previous seasons are available to stream on the platform. CBS previously planned to air the sixth episode on January 7, but delayed two weeks later due to unspecified reasons.
In the previous episode, George Sr. goes on a trip to Coach’s Conference along with his assistant coach, his wife and Mary. George doesn’t reveal about the conference to Mary, which upsets her and the duo fights. Coach Wilkins and his wife supports them and help George and Mary to appreciate each other. Meemaw and Dale also reconstruct their relationship after a game with Sheldon and Missy.
Meanwhile, Georgie and his girlfriend are shocked when Jana tells him that she is going to be pregnant. Jana had her pregnancy test while Georgie imagines of being a father and panics. After Jana reveals that she is not pregnant both are relieved. However, Jana gets upset after Georgie mentions that he is scared to marry Jana.
