The South Korean drama fans are excited to see more of the romantic love story of Gi Sun-gyeom and Oh Mi-joo, when Run On returns this week. JTBC airs the new episode every week within South Korea, whereas Netflix streams the show for international viewers. The first season of the romantic drama has already completed eight episodes. Each episode lasts for a whopping 60 to 71 minutes.

This week JTBC, as well as Netflix, will premiere two new episodes of the hit South Korean drama. The ninth episode will release on January 13, 2021, whereas the tenth episode will air a day later on January 14, 2021. Run On Episode 9 will air on JTBC around 11 pm KST and shortly will appear on Netflix worldwide. Due to the time zone differences, international viewers will have a different time slot.

Run On stars Im Si-wan and Shin Se-kyung in the lead role along with Choi Soo-young and Kang Tae-oh. The first episode of the television series started airing from December 16, 2020. Run On has received popularity and critical acclaim from the Korean drama lovers for its simple and beautiful love story. The series doesn’t contain any over-the-top elements and isn’t boring at all.

Im Si-wan plays the male lead, Gi Sun-gyeom, who is a retired athlete. Now, the retired sprinter is trying to work as the sports agent in JTBC. He crosses paths with beautiful Oh Mi-joo — played by Shin Se-kyung — who works as a subtitle translator. Run On is unique in its own way and quite pleasing to watch. The plot, like a typical drama, doesn’t contain a major antagonist in the storyline.

That’s not it, the television series also features another love story. A university student, Lee Young-Hwa meets Seo Dan-A, the CEO of a sports agency. Seo Dan-A’s father is the owner of the Seomyung Group, but despite being only child, she is pushed away to become the successor. She isn’t the potential successor for her father’s company just because she is a girl.
