Probably they first met with each other on November 2010 when Johansson appeared in a Saturday Night Live. This show is directed by Colin Jost. In March 2017, she filed for divorce from her previous marriage.

After a few months later they met each other officially and the credit goes to Kate McKinnon. Then ” The daily mail” reported they are seen in a date in East Hampton, New York. In November 2017 they officially met with their families.

Later In 2018, they attended few shows or premier together. In May, 2019 it’s officially announced that, they are engaged.  Later, they disclose they were going to marry very soon.
