Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese anime based on shoen manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba by Koyoharu Gotoge. The anime is directed by Haruo Sotozaki. The first season was released in April 2019.
Release date and updates
Waiting for updates of Season 2? Here is the update! It is said to be released in April 2021. The exact date is not yet known. Fans had a great experience watching season 1 and it was satisfactory too. Let’s see what this new season brings for us!
Characters
The characters of season 2 includes Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agastsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, Genya Shinazugawa and Kanai Tsuyuri.
Storyline
The new season’s plot will have Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko as its main characters. We have seen in season 1 how Tanjiro’s family was attacked by demons. Zenitsu, Inosuke, Nezuko and Tanjiro wil be seen fighting against the powerful demons. But, Tanjiro will gain power and strength too after interacting with Giyu Tomioka.
Meanwhile, Tanjiro will be transformed into a powerful demon to bring his sister back to normal form. Nezuko has turned into a demon. However, Tanjiro is all set up to take his revenge from the demons who murdered his family as well as took away his sister.
Where can you watch it?
So, the Japanese version is available on Funimation. Apart from this, if you want to watch it wit. English subtitles then Crunchyull is always there. Some of the episodes are available on Netflix as well. Have a great time watching the fabulous series.
But it is rumored that this upcoming season may not be as good as the previous season. But let’s wait for the release.
