Family Man is an Indian- Hindi language web series streaming on Amazon Prime. It is an action thriller series based on true stories published as an article in newspapers. The series is directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K.
Season 1of the series was released on 20th September 2020. Now, it has come up with it’s second season which will be aired on 12th February 2021.
Cast
Moving on to the cast, Manoj Bajpayee is the lead actor. Other characters include Priyamani, Samantha Akkineni, Sharib Hashmi, Seema Biswas, Darshan Kumar, Sharad Kelkar, Sunny Hinduja, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Shahab Ali and Abrar Qazi.
Plot of The Family Man
The Family Man is a story about a middle-class man named Srikant Tiwari ( Manoj Bajpayee).
He is a secret intelligence officer in a fictional branch of Investigation academy called T.A.S.C. Srikant is married to Suchitra Iyer Tiwari ( Priyamani ) and has two kids. As mentioned before, the story is about some real incident which people must have read in articles.
Recap of Season 1
The Family Man Season 1 was a hit and successful season. Thus, it is back with the second Season. In the first season we saw Moosa( Neeraj Madhav )is very close to succeed in his plan against the public of Delhi. He is ready to spread the toxic gases in Delhi which can be the cause of death of all the people within 2hours.
However, we saw Zoya (Shreya) and Milind (sunny) despite trying their level best to stop the leakage, they fail to do so. As a result, the threat remains throughout and leaves Zoya in depression.
What’s new coming in season 2?
The season 2 will start from where the previous season has ended. Moreover, this season will have all total of 10 episodes. Here, the story will be fixed on Srikant’s personal life. Fans will see Srikant coming through the truth about his wife and Arvind’s (Sharad) secret relationship. This will be shocking for Srikant.
Meanwhile, Karim’s (Abrar Qazi) girlfriend will find the evidence of Karim’s innocence which will affect Srikant’s professional life.
Karim is given the tag of terrorist but he is innocent. On the other hand, Srikant is in deep trouble after knowing about the evidence found by Karim’s girlfriend because he was the one who had killed Karim. The evidence getting viral can be dangerous. So, the upcoming season has alot more to put infront of us.
Few more days left for the action-drama to be released. Hopefully, the second Season will gain popularity like the previous season.
