The Rookie Season 4 Episode 2: Nolan Escapes NARROWLY From Losing His Job, Release Date, and Spoilers

The third season of ABC’s police procedural drama, The Rookie premiered on January 3, 2021. The third season quickly picks up from the cliffhanger in the second season finale. Nolan discovered the dirty truth about detective Nick Armstrong and Armstrong realised that Nolan knows the truth. Before Nolan could incapacitate Armstrong, he quickly planted his stash at Nolan’s house.

After reaching home Nolan finds the stash and elsewhere, police are approaching his house. In the third season premiere, Nolan has to make tough decisions that may hinder his job as a rookie cop. The police and Sergeant Gray discovers Nolan with false evidence and handcuffs him. Nolan is dedicated to prove that the officer Armstrong is a dirty cop and goes on a solo mission.

Later, Ruben Darien abducts Nolan and takes him to a junkyard. The rookie cop then involves in the fight against the crime boss, his mob goons, and Armstrong who has just sneaked out of the hospital. However, Nolan overpowers all of them before calling the police. Even though he did the right thing, his rash approach didn’t look good in the department.

Nolan narrowly escaped from getting fired. The upcoming episode, In Justice, will now focus on the new story arc. Nolan, now his job saved, teams up with Officer Nyla Harper on new police activity.  The Los Angeles Police Department is having a bad reputation in the community due to the recent events. So, the rookie cop and officer Harper are assigned to community policing centre.

The department hopes to improve the negative reputation through the efforts of two police officers at the community policing centre. In Justice will air on January 10, 2021, on ABC at 10 pm ET. Michael Goi will direct the upcoming episode, which is written by Brynn Malone and Fredrick Kotto. Nathan Fillion plays the 45-year-old first rookie cop of the LAPD.
