Amy Adams is a no doubt supremely talented Hollywood actress. She played many versatile characters and roles beyond her comfort zone. Adams gave us movies like: American Hustle, Enchanted, Nocturnal Animals etc. And for the next upcoming years fans could expect some out of the box performances from her.
Amy Adams is all set to present some of the promising movies in 2021. Here is the list:
The Woman in The Window
In November 2020, fans saw Amy’s latest movie Hillbilly Elegy. Which turned out to be a disappointment. Now, Amy’s list contains the most-awaited movie The Woman in The Window.
The movie has been completed for years. But due to authority scandals, reshoots, re-edits, and rewriting the story the film was getting delayed. But now, it is expected to release in 2021. Disney has sold the rights of the film to Netflix. Tough Netflix hasn’t announced any confirmed date.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League
Zack Snyder wrote a wholesome book on the Justice League. The film is in the post production process. Amy Adams will reprise her role Lois Lane. Due to several cancellations and changes in the crew, Snyder’s Justice League was not sure to be truthfully released. But after overcoming all the hurdles this movie is expected to come in this year.
Kings of America
Netflix’s Kings of America is an upcoming limited series which is all set to present Amy Adams’s executive producing talents. Amy will also act in this series. The director of the series is Adam McKey.
Kings of America is the story of 3 women of different interests. One of them is a heiress, one is a maverick executive and the 3rd one is a Walmart saleswoman. The story will follow how their lives get interconnected with Walmart. The movie is assumed to be in pre-production in 2020 and is expected to be released in 2021 or later.
Dear Evan Hansen
Dear Evan Hansen is initially the famous Broadway show which received several prestigious Tony awards. But now, Universal Pictures is all set to adapt this in a movie version, directed by Stephen Chbosky.
Amy Adams has joined the cast with Marc Platt, Julianne Moore, Kaitlyn Dever, Amanda Stanberg and Danny Pino. The shooting was started in August 2020, but no further announcements have been made.
Disenchanted
The original Enchanted came 13 years ago. Disney announced way back in 2010 that the film will get a sequel named Disenchanted. Since then no further progress has been done with the movie. Still fans are waiting for this parody sequel to finally be made and released in 2021.
