He received a lot of appreciation and Academy Award nominations for his prominent role in The Last Picture Show(1971), Thunderbolt and Lightfoot(1974), Starman(1984), The Contender(2000), True Grit(2010), Hell or High Water(2016).
Moreover, he won the Academy Award for his role of Alcoholic singer in 2009 for the fils Crazy Heart. Not only this, but he has been in the most famous movies such as King Kon(1976), Tron(1982) and Iron Man(2008). That’s indeed the greatest achievement of him.

He comes with a celebrity background His father Lloyd Bridges was an actor, and his mother Dorothy Bridges was an actress and a writer. Jeff has three siblings and they grew up in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles. As a matter of fact, he is an excellent actor but along with acting, he has his keen interest in music.
“I dug what an actor did, but it took me a while to feel it, to truly appreciate the craft and the preparation. Plus, I was still playing music a lot, and I guess I had a hard time choosing: was I an actor or a musician, or could I be both?” Jeff said showing his love for music.
After gaining popularity as a singer, Jeff and Judy Collins sang a duet on the album Strangers Again in 2015.
He tied a knot with Susan Geston. They met on the sets of the movie Rancho Deluxe on a ranch where Susan worked as a waitress.
They married in 1977 and have three daughters, Isabelle Annie (born August 6, 1981), Jessica Lily “Jessie” (born June 14, 1983), Haley Roselouise (born October 17, 1985) and In 2011 they became grandparents of Grace (born March 31, 2011) from Isabelle.
Recently on October 19, 2020, Bridges announced that he has been diagnosed with Lymphoma. All his fans are praying for his good health.
