When CD Projekt Red announced that their new game will have multiplayer mode since then everyone all around the globe is eagerly waiting for the new mode. Game lovers want their hands on this new game by CD Projekt Red as soon as possible but there is some problem in that. CD Projekt Red failed to deliver in the expected time. It has been delayed a lot of times.
Recently in this month investors made an emergency call meeting with CD Projekt Red as they want to know about the Cyberpunk 2077 Multiplayer mode. CD Projekt Red knows it and we know it too that the game’s launch came with a lot of flaws and there were many glitches in it.
CD Projekt Red now focuses on improving it and this may take some time yes you heard it this will take time and if you were expecting that it will resolve quickly you are wrong. CD Projekt Red themselves doesn’t know how much time it will take.
CD Projekt Red’s answers to the investors
Adam Kiciński, the chairman of CD Projekt Red’s board said, “After three delays, we were too focused on releasing the game. We underestimated the scales and complexity of the issues.” The chairman further added, “We ignored the signals about the need of additional time to refine the game on the base last-gen consoles.
It was the wrong approach and against our business philosophy.” The chairman also talked about how they have let down the trust of the gamers who trusted them and also they have lost the recognition and name that they have built over so many years.
The chairman continued and try to make the investors understand the situation as he added, “We will do everything possible to prove that we stick to our values. We truly hope that our efforts will help rebuild the trust that we have lost.” The investors continued questioning him and just gave him many hurdles and they also wanted to know if this problem could have been avoided and if they can expect the multiplayer mode in the next couple of years to which the chairman said,
“I’ll admit it’s the bit I’m most interested in. I’d love to run around the Night City with my pals sooner rather than later, but CDPR seems a little unsure about their multiplayer release plans now.” He continued talking and further added, “It’s too early to judge. We don’t know yet. We are now focused on improving Cyberpunk, and will discuss it early next year.”
When can we expect the cyberpunk’s multiplayer mode?
An investor asked him if CD Projekt Red is aiming to bring out the cyberpunk’s multiplayer mode in 2023 to which he replied, “Haven’t confirmed any date yet and will discuss it in January.” Investors asked CD Projekt Red that the new game could have tested more so that they were able to address the bugs and were able to solve it in time to which the CDPR’s chairman said,” they did less testing because of the corona-virus.”
