It’s about time Marvel cinematic universe introduces she-hulk for comic fans. Sure, we’ve seen many Marvel movies that we feel sincerely close with and it does have the perfect casting!
However, MCU should definitely keep updating on its characters and bring many more actors who can play the part. The films have definitely brought many of the comic characters to cinema life but it must include more!
Good news is on the way, Marvel Studios and Disney + are ready to be more inclusive and to extend the MCU. More shows that will join us are Falcon and the winter soldier, Wandavision, Moon Knight, Ms Marvel, She-Hulk! That’s right, MCU has finally decided to bring in Mark Ruffalo’s female alternative, a she-hulk.
She-Hulk in MCU
Jennifer Susan Walters aka she-hulk is a lawyer in the comics who gets injured and gets a blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner also known as the Hulk. This is essentially how she acquires the powers of the hulk and is able to transform herself. Unlike the classic hulk, Jennifer still retains her human personality and mind even after the transformation.
In MCU, we will see Tatiana Maslany play Jennifer Susan Walters which finally confirms the rumours. The internet has long been battling out on who can play the part, from Betty Gilpin to Kerry Washington. Alas, MCU shocks us all with Maslany awarded the role of she-hulk. The actress proves her skills in Orphan Black which assures us that she can indeed play the role!
MCU has a huge opportunity here to introduce She-hulk to viewers. We’ll likely see the origin of the she-hulk as she has never been in the cinemas yet!
